I asked last night for 2.30 and got it for Argentina to win their group. Good bet I think. Surprised how well fancied Germany are... Going to take a closer look now at Wednesday's opening fixtures...

Not really the best prep for Mexico here... Quite like o2.5 goals for Brazil v Greece - 2.00 @b365, 2.08 pointbet, 2.05 bf. Brazil's formation (1st post) will be even more attack minded than usual and can't see the Greeks keeping them out. Likewise, Brazil's defence for this game is poor and Greece have every chance to score themselves, possibly on the counter.

I read that Greece now have Zakoragis back too. It's going to be an interesting clash of styles, Greece playing quite well at the moment - apparently had all the play against Ukraine despite losing... Thx for latest on the Mexico story, has been on, off, on, off - so they're not going then... I beginning to fancy Japan to qualify from the group @3.00, but nothing definite yet...could certainly turn over Mexico I think...Japan and Greece have fairly similar styles I think.

What did you think of Argentina v Tunisia?? I only saw the second half - but wasn't convinced by Argentina at all. Better side probably, but I was expecting better. Defence looked ragged, and that GK had a poor half (second choice keeper I take it??) Of course, that was never a pen for Tunisia in second half - but they had a few other chances too and could have snatched a draw. I want to check - but don't understand why Tunisia didn't start with Santos. Perhaps they thought they could hold out without taking too many chances - but Tunisia looked quite good when they started to play a bit. I'd expect Argentina's overall odds to drift a bit after that despite the win...

I wasn't on Mexico, but took the overs in the Brazil v Greece match on your say so - nice one Any thoughts, now the first round is completed? I wasn't so impressed with any team to be honest...Brazil played nice football tonight, but largely untested by Greece. Mexico had a good performance I suppose, but again, Japan looked quite poor to me. Probably like Argentina best, but they had a fairly mediocre second half against Tunisia. I think we've yet to see the best from both teams here, Tunisia could surprise a few people I think. Can certainly give both Germany and Australia a run for their money anyway.
