I posted earlier about this theory, of using the Bookies closing prices instead of the results to come with a way of computing prices. My theory is that the Closing Price is the most efficient, especially in low volume sports where the lines are not as strong.
With this in mind I have devised a spreadsheet for calculating Totals for the WNBA. I have loked at only this years games, and have looked at games from the 12th onwards, and only a very small sample size, but very good results so far, so encouraging, but in no way shape or form conclusive, thats what this thread is about!
For the record it is 7-1 so far.
I will post the plays as if playing the opening line, which is the most important factor of this system. I hope that it will exploit mistakes made by the linesmakers, which will have been corrected in the ratings by the efficiency of the market.
For today there would have been 2 plays. Plays will be made where there is a 2 point difference from rating to line.

Washington/Phoenix Over 135.5 Rating 138.2
